Forward Unto Dusk

Whew, this one was actually a challenge for me. From sketching the sangheili form (their legs and faces are concentrated evil), experimenting with shadows, and actually making a *gasp* BACKGROUND.

For those who are unsure/don't know, this is indeed Halo 3 fa_nartz. It's the character model I use for multiplayer. I call him: IGER 'TATUL (with help from the Elite Nameilizer.)

Now, this is my first time really attempting to draw an elite, so there's bound to be a few mistakes. For instance, his legs kinda look funny to me. And evidently, when they hold a Carbine, they do tuck their other thumb in like that.

The armor wasn't as reflective as I wanted it to be, but there are a few attempts in there.

And this is also my first time doing a digital background. It turned out better than I thought it would. Especially since I only used a mouse. :>

Also, before someone comments on the insane amount of bloom, keep in mind that I was trying to emulate the Halo look. For those who've never played the game, things are quite shiny and there's a good deal of bloom effects.


Halo and Elites/Sangheili belong to Bungie/Microsoft.
